Wet Paint

What do you do when you see this sign? I'll tell you what I do, what I ALWAYS do... I touch the surface in question. I actually think I get excited when I see a "Wet Paint" sign. Will it be wet? Won't it? You never know!... Until. You. Touch it!
Most of the time it's already dry and I am left with a severe sense of disappointment. But sometimes, just sometimes, I am left with a tiny smear on my curious index finger and warmth on the inside of my heart.
